Service Description

1 Hour Private Virtual Class What’s included: • What to expect when the baby arrives (normal behavior & physiology) • How to prepare to breastfeed before the baby arrives • Colostrum, milk supply & milk flow • Various breastfeeding positions • How to achieve a good latch • How to know if your baby is getting enough • How to hand express • When to get help • Q and A 1.5 hour home visit, when baby arrives (usually between day 3-7) This visit will be booked with you over the phone or email. What’s included: • Going over the health history of the dyad • Weighing the baby • Assessment of the breastfeeding dyad • Latch assessment • Assessment of baby's tongue function and suck • Breast exam • Management of current challenges & improvement of breastfeeding technique • Help with the use of breastfeeding aids (nipple shield, pump etc). • Care/feeding plan development + 1 week of email support. Cancellation Policy

Cancelations/Refunds/No-shows - We require a 24 hour notice for all the changes and cancelations. If the appointment is canceled in less then 24 hours, a $75 cancelation fee applies. This cancelation fee will be subtracted from the amount you paid initially and the remaining amount will be refunded to you within 24 hours. If the client does not show up for an in-person or virtual appointment, the fee for that appointment is non refundable. If I am unaware that you are late for your appointment, I typically wait 15 minutes and then log out or leave (if this is a home visit). In this case it is considered a no-show. If you notify me that you are running late before or right at your appointment time, I will wait and we can use the remaining time. If you need to change or cancel your appointment please do so before your 24h window, so that we can give your time slot to the next client on the waiting list. * These policies do not apply to free webinars and classes.
